Welcome to your college Adventure Hunt

The Goal:
The game is simple, be the first student group to solve the game… wins the money. The game simply is a scavenger hunt using historical clues of Boston. Each clue will lead groups to another clue until the final clue leads groups to the cash. There are 12 clues to find.

The Rules:
For groups to play, their group must be a registered member of this college or universities student activities office. We will be checking your group’s status. Any recognized student group can participate, sports teams, clubs and organizations, etc… Any issues with eligibility will be up to the universities discretion, if a school recognizes them, then they are eligible.

Your group must consist of at least 6 members. Each member must create a Loudbus profile. Each group must create a GROUP or TEAM Loudbus profile. The profiles must be filled in/completed entirely.

Event: April 24, 3pm start time. Meet on grass corner of Charles Street and Beacon Street of the Boston Common.

Arrive 30mins early. The game will start at exactly 3:00pm. You must be early to get your first clue on time. This is vital to success. If a group is late they will still be able to participate but they will be at a severe disadvantage. The games anticipated game time is 4 hours.

Some Tips:
Want to win: there are a few ways to get ahead of the other groups:

1. In order to help a local charitable foundation, we have partner with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Foundation and we are going to be collecting donated clothes to their organization. For every piece of clothing a group donates they will receive a “letter” towards a clue. This letter will be essential in the groups over-all success. Please check out the “GIVEbig” page for details.
2. Since this event is all about getting more and more people to join Loudbus we are offering groups the chance to receive full hints about clues. For every profile that has 50 buddies on their buddy list will receive a “full-hint” about a clue. ( a full hint is a sentence of words giving a group an incentive about a clue along their hunt. The hints could help with any of the clues along the way. You can receive these hints anytime BEFORE the day of the hunt. Once your profile buddy list hits 50, email, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and you will receive a hint in reply.

This game is going to require groups to work together, use every resource they have and know some history of Boston. Just a little hint, the history will not be as easy as you might think. There will be no “two if by land, one if by sea”.

Just remember all groups will be following different games, so working together wont work. Good Luck and Hope to see what you can make happen.
